About Idaho Supreme Potatoes.

Idaho Supreme Potatoes located in Firth, Idaho started operating as a fresh potato packing operation in 1967. Shortly after in 1969 the facility expanded into potato dehydration. Over the years the plant expanded to the become one of the leading potato dehydration facilities in North America. In 2018 Idaho Pacific Holdings purchased Idaho Supreme Potatoes and proudly carries on the tradition of producing and supplying the highest quality potatoes worldwide.

 

Production Capabilities.

Idaho Supreme Potatoes manufactures dehydrated potato Flakes, Flour, Slices, Dices, and Shreds/Hash browns. We offer many different ingredient specifications for multiple end-product applications. From whole flake to finely milled flakes/flours, to full cook to low leach, to additive free/clean label, our diverse production capabilities give us the ability to manufacture and supply the right product for you.

Our foodservice product capabilities include complete mashed potato mixes either blended or agglomerated, scalloped and au gratin casseroles, slices, dices and seasoned and unseasoned hashbrowns.

Our highly skilled Research & Development team is ready to assist you to solve your technical needs or to develop customized specifications for your business needs.

Our packaging capabilities are diverse ranging from poly pouches, gabled cartons and #10 tins, kraft bags, and polyethylene bulk sacks. Bulk rail car and bulk truck capabilities are available as well. Private labeling packaging options are available for most foodservice and retail applications.

 

Growing Region.

Idaho is the largest potato growing region in North America that supplies one-third of the potatoes produced in the United States each year. The rich soils in the Idaho Snake River plain, abundant water supply, and ideal climate provide optimal growing conditions to produce the highest quality potatoes. The main varieties grown in Idaho are Russet varieties such as Burbank, Norkotah, Ranger and others. These varieties grow well in the Idaho climate and have storage qualities that allow for a reliable supply throughout the year.

This facility is certified under a GFSI approved standard.

The products produced in this facility are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).

The products produced in this facility are certified Halal by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).
